How it all began…

Epikura is a company descended from Sainte-Anne Hospital, an establishment attached to the Department of Veterans Affairs Canada, where the development of Prophagia technologies began in the early 1990s. Our founder was faced with the glaring problem of malnutrition among veterans, especially those with dysphagia. Undernutrition represented more than 40% among veterans at Sainte-Anne de Bellevue hospital. The production of Epikura therefore began and the problem of malnutrition decreased remarkably after the development and use of Epikura foods.​
